Chrystine B. Conn Funeral services for Chrystine B. Conn, 90, of Jonesville were held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, January 2, 2008, at First Baptist Church of Jonesville with the Rev. Marshall Douglas and Dr. Ralph Webber officiating.
Burial followed at Old Pine Hill Cemetery in Sicily Island under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Mrs. Conn was born October 28, 1917, in Morgan County, AL, the daughter of Goodman Brumbelow and Lottie Elizabeth Brumbelow. She passed away Sunday, December 30, 2007, at her residence.
She was a retired school teacher and a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jimmy" Conn; and her parents.
Survivors include her daughter, Roxanna Conn Coleman of Pearl, MS; grandson, Lawton Coleman of Pearl; granddaughter, Laura Kirsten Callahan of Pearl; great-granddaughters, Ana Ilse Coleman, Heidi Chrystine Coleman, Marta Elizabeth Coleman, Kirsten Melody Callahan, Kaitlyn Meredith Callahan and Kimberly Michaela Callahan; and great-grandson, Kenneth Michael Callahan.
Pallbearers were Raymond Rouse, Benny Neal, Jimmy Wilson, Harry Callahan, Kenneth Callahan, Mike Bennett and Gary Odom.
Honorary pallbearers were deacons of First Baptist Church of Jonesville. |
