Audrey F. Sanford
Funeral services for Audrey F. Sanford were held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2007, at Young's Funeral Home with the Rev. Chase Weeks officiating.
Burial followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Ball under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Ms. Sanford was born October 9, 1937 in Columbia, the daughter of Raymond and Vera Griffin Sr. She passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2007, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
Ms. Sanford was a resident of Ferriday. She was retired from Diamond International and she delivered papers for the Concordia Sentinel for the past 20 years.
Ms. Sanford was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Griffin Sr., and mother, Vera Griffin; son, David Lynn Philips; daughter, Misty Renee Sanford; sister, Jaqueline Jeoung; and brother, Vernon Roy Griffin.
Survivors include four sons, Mike Phillips and wife, Cindy, of Byram, MS, Howard Phillips and wife, Susan, of Ferriday, Robin G. Phillips and wife, Jackie, of Monterey, Mark Phillips and wife, Sandra, of Vidalia; daughter, Brenda Murray and husband, Raymond, of Summit, MS; brother, Raymond Griffin Jr. of Winnfield; and two sisters, Shirley Sanders of Wichita, KA, and Janet E. Tomlinson of Bradenton, FL. She was also survived by 23 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers were Timmy Beatty, Mike Morace, Roy Crelia Jr., Lucien Davis, Dean Bonsall, Mike Trevillion and Travis Wallace. |
