Martha V. Tennison Funeral services for Martha V. Tennison, 76, of Clayton were held Tuesday, January 8, 2008, 10 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Barry Dennis officiating.
Burial followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Tennison was born August 12, 1931, in Eudora, AR, the daughter of William and Pearl Elizabeth Varnell. She passed away Sunday, January 6, 2008, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ferriday.
She was a resident of Clayton and a member of the Sicily Island First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Erven Tennison.
Survivors include son Bill Tennison and his wife, Nancy, of Vidalia; two daughters - Pam Arthur and her husband, Morris, of Monterey, Leslie Kennedy and her husband, Brian, of Monterey; three grandsons -- Brannon Arthur and his wife, Kristy, of Vidalia, Barrett Arthur of Ferriday, and Kolby Kennedy of Monterey; two granddaughters -- Megan Viguerie and her husband, Nick, of Zachary and Kassie Kennedy of Monterey; step-granddaughter Candace Iiale and step-grandson Casey Iiale.
Pallbearers were C.J. Barron, Carroll Barron, Randy Ward, Winfield Ward, Larry Clayton and Tommy Denning. |
