Aldoris Marie Portier Funeral services for Aldoris Marie Portier, 76, of Waterproof were held Saturday, January 5, 2008, at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin.
Burial followed at St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of Chauvin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Portier died Thursday, January 3, 2008.
She was a homemaker, caretaker and member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ferriday.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Tivet and Irby Mayeaux; parents, Edward Joseph Portier and Mary Lula Henry Portier; a son, Henry Joseph Tivet; grandchildren, Rhonda Rhodes and Johnny Portier; brothers, Harold Portier and Johnny Portier; sisters, Azora Bergeron and Anna Portier.
Survivors include daughters, Sandra Ruble of Waterproof and Sherry Rhodes of Houma; brother, Jimmy Portier of Galliano; sisters, Laura Mae Portier of Baton Rouge and DeeDee Pelgran of Houma; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. |
