Whitney Nicole Butts Funeral services for Whitney Nicole Butts, 21, of Metairie, formerly of Ferriday will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2008, at Evangel Temple Assembly of God with Sister Gaye Bradford and Brother Noah Marshall officiating.
Burial will follow at Sholar Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm. today at the church.
Mrs. Butts was born March 1, 1986, in Ferriday, the daughter of William John "Billy" Oliver and Roberta Lynn Turner. She passed away Sunday, January 6, 2008, at Tulane Hospital in New Orleans.
She was employed with Personal Home Care and was a member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her mother; and grandfathers, B.L. Scholar and William John Oliver Sr.
Survivors include her husband, Randall Butts of Metairie; her father; brother, William John "Trey" Oliver III of West Monroe; grandmothers, Betty Sholar of Ferriday and Amanda Oliver; aunts, Shelia Hobbs and husband, Ronnie, Beverly Thomas, Joy Parker and Sandy Peavy and husband, Floyd; uncles, Burlie Sholar and wife, Jennifer, Ron Rogers, Glen Butts and wife, Melinda and the Rev. Noah Marshall and wife, Jeannie; mother-in-law, Darlene Rogers; father-in-law, Randy Butts; sisters-in-law, Ashley and Brandy Butts; cousins, Jared Marshall, Jamison Marshall, Skipper Peavey, Christy Sanders, Savanah Sholar, Sloane Sholar and Beau Sholar; and her beloved dog, Roscoe.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family. |
