Lee to speak at Ferriday chamber meeting Tuesday
Ferriday Chamber of Commerce general membership meeting will be held Tuesday, January 15th, 12 noon at Concordia Bank, Ferriday.
Buffet lunch will be served. Cost is $6.
Guest speaker at the January 15th meeting will be Robert Lee, III, director of Concordia Parish Recreation District I. His topic will be the Recreation District I plans for the 2008 year.
The date of the monthly general membership meeting is being changed from the 3rd Wednesday of each month to the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Time and place will remain unchanged – 12 noon at the Concordia Bank Community Room.
The reason for the change is an effort to better meet the needs and schedules of local businesses and Chamber members.
"We are hoping the change will allow increased membership, attendance and participation," said Mignonne Ater. |
