Graveside services for Helen Bernice "Boots" Foster, of Ferriday were held Monday, January 14, 2008, 3 p.m. at Union Cemetery in Utica, MS, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mrs. Foster was born June 17, 1924 in Utica to Luther Martin and Anges Crawford Martin. She passed away Friday, January 11, 2008, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ferriday.

She was a resident of Vidalia, a telephone operator and associated with First Baptist Church in Vidalia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband M. L. "Shorty" Foster, husband E.R. Wilson, brother L.M. Martin Jr. and grandson Justin Collins.

Survivors include daughters Syble Collins and husband, Dale, of Port Gibson, MS, and Debbie Caldwell of Vidalia; sister Ouida Kemp of Raymond, MS; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Eric Collins, Austin Collins, Brian Chelette and Michael Foster.

Honorary pallbearers were Dusty Collins, Scott Chelette, Gene Johnson and Dale Collins.
