Huntington splits with Tensas
Huntington's boys made it a sweep of Tensas with a 62-44 win over the Chiefs Friday in Ferriday.
Huntington led 11-6 after one period of play and 27-12 at halftime.
The Hounds outscored Tensas 20-15 in the third quarter.
Tyler Pere´ led Huntington with 19 points, while Kevin Brown added 13 and Jody Cottongin 12.
The Lady Hounds fell to the Lady Chiefs, 47-35.
The contest was tied at 9-9 after one period and Huntington led 26-23 at halftime.
But Tensas took control in the third quarter, outscoring the Lady Hounds 15-3 for a 38-29 advantage and held on for the win.
Donna Tarver, Juile Moak and Julia Corbett each scored nine points for Huntington. |
