Funeral services for Sandra Reeves Biddle, 59, of Vidalia were held Saturday, February 2, 2008, 10 a.m. at Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday with the Rev. Paul Southerland officiating.

Graveside services followed at 2 p.m. at Topisaw Cemetery, in Ruth, MS, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mrs. Biddle was born September 23, 1948, in Brookhaven, MS, the daughter of John Thomas Reeves and Effie Herrington Reeves. She passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2008, in Vidalia.

Sandra was such an inspiration to her family and friends. The courage she displayed during her battle with cancer inspired them to create a Relay For Life Team in her honor with commercial sponsorship from McDaniel Plumbing. She will be deeply missed by all those she has touched.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Biddle; and her parents.

Survivors include two daughters, Dana Wyles and husband, Ben, of Vidalia and Jessica Hynson and husband, Michael, of Lafayette; one son, Johnny Biddle and wife, Christy, of Vidalia; one sister, Norma Wiley and husband, Roger, of Vidalia; two brothers, Michael Reeves and wife, Mitzi, of Union Church, MS, and Harold Moak and wife, Louise, of Ferriday; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Kristin and Courtney Wyles, Jason Hynson, and Blake and Alexis Bullock; and a number of family and friends.

Pallbearers were Eyrich Clark, Barrett Clark, Mark Crane, Lee Cox, Dee Wyles and Gene Gill.

Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Huey Moak, Lowrey Moak, Will Moak and Tim Frith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
