Municipal, party elections slated Saturday in Concordia
Voters in Clayton, Vidalia and Ferriday will elect mayors and other municipal officials during Saturday's primary election.
Democratic and Republican party offices are also up for grabs. In these primary elections, Democrats can only vote for Democrats and Republicans for Republicans.
Polls open at 6 a.m. Saturday and close at 8 p.m. A total of 304 persons voted early last week, while some 47 mail in ballots had been tallied by Monday. Mail-in ballots can be accepted through Friday.
The general or run-off election will be held March 8.
