Bobbie Calvit Morgan Funeral services for Bobbie Calvit Morgan, 78, of Ferriday were held Monday, February 11, 2008, at Comer Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday, with the Rev. Russell Crum officiating.
Burial followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Natchez.
Mrs. Morgan was born October 2, 1929, in Winnsboro, the daughter of Robert A. and Alva Calvit. She passed away Saturday, February 9, 2008, at her residence.
She worked as a teacher in the Jefferson Davis Parish Public School System until her retirement. She was a member of the Woodlawn Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, K. L. "Buck" Morgan of Ferriday; three sons, K. L. Morgan II and Jules Morgan, both of Ferriday, and Steve Diel and wife, Evelyn, of Start; daughter, Sarah Morgan Ernst and husband, Matthew, of Sprucepine, NC; five grandchildren, Bobbie Faith Ernst, Robert Morgan Ernst, Kurt and Sean Diel, Michelle Goodwin and husband, Chad; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Morgan Ernst, Matt Ernst, Gary Morgan, Bill Morgan, Jules Morgan, Kurt Diel, Steve Diel and Chad Goodwin. |
