Roy Bass Visitation services for Roy Bass, 66, of Church Hill, MS, were held Saturday, February 16, 2008, from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday with a service of remembrance at 7 p.m.
Mr. Bass was born August 1, 1941, in Harrisonburg, the son of Roy and Fairlyn Bass. He passed away Monday, February 11, 2008, at Church Hill.
He was a retired iron worker. Mr. Bass was a member of the Local 1 International Association of Structural Bridge and Ornamental Iron Workers and a Mason.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Bobby Glen Bass and Kirby Wayne Bass.
Survivors include one daughter, Patti Bass Werner; one granddaughter, Alyssa Werner, both of Beecher, IL; two sisters, Edna Bass Collins of Natchez and Terri Bass Harper of Lake Concordia; one brother, Travis Bass of Lake Concordia; three nephews, John Harper, Phillip Harper and Kevin Bass; and two nieces, Connie Collins Cowden and Hanna Harper Barfoot. |
