Funeral services for Houston Phillip Ganey, 79, of Monterey were held Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Paul Stephen and Stan Wyatt officiating.

Burial followed at Chalk Hill Cemetery of Little Creek, LA, under the direction of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home.

He passed away February 23, 2008, at his residence.

Mr. Ganey owned and operated Ganey Oil Tool Service for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Clotelle Randall Ganey; one daughter, Brenda Paul; one son, Tony Ganey, all of Monterey; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were L. T. Moseley, Jr. Harris, Kenneth Ware, Cecil Watts, Wayne Russell, James Enterkin, Jimmy Hall and Marty Britt.

Honorary pallbearers were Stanley Murry, Emmitt Burns, Joe Davis, Reggie Engram, Red Hailey, J. W. Thomas and Hoss Davis.
