Ernest Raymond Edwards Funeral services for Ernest Raymond Edwards, 67, of Ferriday, will be held Saturday, March 8, 2008, 11 a.m. at Doty Road Church of God in Ferriday with Bro. Kelly Wilson officiating.
Burial will follow at Doty Road Church of God Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Friday, 6 to 8 p.m. at Concordia Funeral Home.
Mr. Edwards was born October 5, 1940, in Monterey to Willie Edwards and Amanda Edwards. He passed away March 1, 2008, at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.
He was a retired bus driver, a member of American Legion #0536 and graduated from Sevier High School.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother, Amanda Lewis Edwards of Ferriday; wife, Mary Ann Piercefield-Edwards of Los Angeles, CA; a son, Raymond Edwards of Los Angeles; daughter, Felicia Edwards of Los Angeles; one brother, Willie B. Edwards of Ferriday; sisters, Lula E. Grayson of Ferriday, Sadie E. Fletcher of Columbia, MD, and Suebretta E. Clay of West Covina, CA. |
