Calvin H. Rabb Funeral services for Calvin H. Rabb, 63, of St. Joseph were held Sunday, March 2, 2008, 2 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church with the Rev. Louis Sklar officiating.
Burial followed at Legion Memorial Cemetery, in Newellton, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mr. Rabb was born October 7, 1944, in Ferriday, the son of Nolan Lee Rabb and Bertha Rae Rabb. He passed away Thursday, February 28, 2008, at Residence Saint Joseph.
He was a resident of St. Joseph, a farmer and a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Nolan Lee Rabb and Wiley Howard Rabb.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Rabb; one son, Calvin "Hank" Rabb Jr. and wife, Patty, of St. Joseph; one daughter, Kimberlee Rabb Kinnard and husband, David, of Monroe; one granddaughter, Emily Nicole Rabb; one grandson, Calvin Rafe Kinnard; one sister, Alma Alost of Natchitoches; and two brothers, James Rabb of Houghton and Raymond Rabb of Waterproof.
Pallbearers were Bobby James, Truman Goldman, Mac Hazlip, Edward Bottley, Wayne Brown and Scott Watson.
Honorary pallbearers were Jack Grace Jr. and George Gray.
Memorials may be made to Tensas Academy or St. Jude's Hospital. |
