Edna Blount Morgan
Funeral services for Edna Blount Morgan, 83, of Ferriday will be held Thursdday, March 13, 2008, 10:30 a.m. at Monterey Church of Christ with Bro. Billy Wallace officiating.
Burial will follow at Monterey Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at the church.
Mrs. Morgan was born December 10, 1924, in Monterey, the daughter of Howard and Phoebe Blount. She passed away Sunday, March 9, 2008, in Ferriday.
She was a resident of Ferriday, a homemaker and member of Monterey Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald Scott and Donald Scott; and her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Dewitt Morgan Jr.; four sons, Barry Scott and wife, Debra, of New Orleans, Barry Morgan and wife, Shelly, of St. Louis, Charles Scott and wife, Nan, of Houston, and Brian Morgan and wife, Jayne, of Dayton, OH; seven grandchildren, Laura, Chris and Katy Scott, Kaeli and Talia Morgan, Kyle and Carlee Holzhalb; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wes Steel, Howard Blount, David Reeves, Hershel Reeves, Jeff Lancaster and Dan Steel. |
