Adelia Faulkner Funeral services for Adelia Faulkner, 77, of Vidalia, who died Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at Promise Specialty Hospital, in Ferriday, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ferriday Church of God with the Revs. Paul Burris, Pat Anders and Doug Fisher officiating.
Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at the church.
Mrs. Faulkner was born September 29, 1930, in Polkville, MS, the daughter of Samuel and Annie Mary Smith Fortenberry. She was a member of Ferriday Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Marilyn Rodgers and Louise Ferry; great-great-grandson, Luther Morace; and five brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include three daughters, Diane Fitt and husband, Johnny Wade, and Terry Anders and husband, Ricky, all of Ferriday, and Ceil McCarstle and husband, Ted, of Monterey; two sons-in-law, Jerry Rodgers and David Ferry, both of Natchez; and eight grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Billy Fitt, Ricky Anders Jr., Jerry Wayne Rodgers, Allan Ensminger, Bob Longmire and Shane Geoghegan. |
