Tensas pair win St. Patrick Gary and Terry Jones and Ryan Borsch of Tensas Parish won the St.
Patrick's Church Shamrock Shootout Saturday at Panola Woods.
The Tensas team tied the team of Frankie Spence, Ashley Magee and
Ronnie Russell with a 93 at the end of 27 holes.
The Jones pair and Borsch won the tournament on the first extra hole.
Finishing third with a 94 was the team of Pat, Cathy and Brian Hinson.
Winning the first flight with a 93 was the team of David Jones, Raymond
Kelly and Greg Brooking.
Tying for second place in the first flight with 94s were the team of
Don Tassin, Wayne Miley and Peggy Berniard and Buddy Clark, Huey Nelson
and Mike Oram of Columbia.
Winning the second flight was the team of Jerry Johns, Josh Johns and
Keith Dallalio with a 99. The team of Craig Jackson, Michael Burley and
Phillip Webber tied with Mike Rabb, Cliff Merritt and Clint Vegas for
second at 101.
Closest to the hole winners were David Jones and Dee Horton, while
Borsch was longest drive winner.
The next major golf tournament scheduled for Panola Woods will be the
Fuss N Cuss slated for late April. |
