by Joey Martin - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Vidalia High's softball team scored 13 runs in the second inning on its

way to an easy 15-3 win over Bolton in Alexandria Thursday in a

District 3-3A contest.

Brittany Whittington, Mary Sanders and Tori Lemoine held the Lady Bears

to four hits in the win. Lemoine led the Lady Vikings at the plate with

two singles.

Chelsie McElwee, Kassi Randall, Brittany Evans and Shelby Zimmerman had

one hit each.

Sydney Guidroz had an RBI for the Lady Vikings.

"Their pitchers struggled, so all the varsity and junior varsity

players got to play, which is good," said Vidalia coach Jeanne Hall.

Vidalia hosts Marksville Thursday.
