Joyce Marie Payne Marsh
Funeral services for Joyce Marie Payne Marsh, 70, of Vidalia were held Friday, March 21, 2008, 10 a.m. at Ferriday Church of God with Rev. Paul Burress officiating.
Burial followed at Epps Cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Marsh was born April 7, 1937, in Holly Ridge to Walter O. and Tinnie Belle C. Payne. She passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at her residence.
Mrs. Marsh had been a resident of Vidalia for over 20 years and she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ferriday Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Buddy Payne.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest L. Marsh of Vidalia; eight daughters, Brenda Sanders of Texas, Vickie Castillo and husband, David, of South Carolina, Rebecca Sims and husband, Billy, of Epps, Tina Hutchinson and husband, Floyd, of Lake Providence, Nina Adams and husband, Ted, Darlene McElwee and husband, Keith, Renee Marceleno and husband, Rodney, and Lynn Johnese and husband, Mark, all of Vidalia; brother, Charlie Payne of Monroe; sisters, Eloise Autenberry and Peggy Hamilton, both of Atlanta, GA, and Fran Philley of Epps; 22 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Timmy Philley, Stacy Philley, Paul Philley, Rodney Smitherman, Kevin Brown, and Travis McElwee.
Honorary pallbearers were Josh Hutchinson, Trey Hitt, and Anthony Donahue. |
