Ella Mae Dosher Wright
Funeral services for Ella Mae Dosher Wright, 92, of Harrisonburg were held today, Wednesday, March 26, 2008, 10 a.m. at Birds Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Ed Cotten and Sis. Evelyn Patten officiating.
Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery in Manifest under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Mrs. Wright was born August 21, 1915, in Gueydan, LA, to Edward Nelson Dosher and Matilda McMillin Dosher. She passed away Sunday, March 23, 2008, at Promise Hospital in Ferriday.
She was a resident of Harrisonburg, a homemaker and a member of Birds Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J. L. "Lank" Wright; sisters, Eleanor Dosher Tullos and Olivia Dosher; brother, Edward Nelson Dosher; a grandson, Glen Gordon; and a great-granddaughter, Katherine Gordon.
Survivors include daughters, Gloria Wright Gordon of Harrisonburg, Linda Tedford and husband, Robert, of Texas, and Barbara Wright of Harrisonburg; grandchildren, Debbie Patton, Sandra Tedford, Michael Gordon, Barbie Blood Huff and Candace Blood Barton; great-grandchildren, Eric Patton, Deven Blood Brooks, Mathieu Gordon, Caden Blood and Ella Rose Huff; special niece, Evelyn Patten; and special nephews, Joe and Jimmy Tullos.
Pallbearers were Paul Wright, Jaime Huff, Grant Coley, Randy Joe Tullos and John Wayne Albritton. |
