Huntington's Lady Hounds brought home top honors at the Riverfield Track Meet in Rayville on April 2.

"We're doing well, we just need to keep everyone healthy," said Lady Hound coach Penny Moak.

Huntington will compete at a track meet in Silliman Thursday in preparation for the district meet at Ruston High School on April 16.

Huntington totaled 65 points at Riverfield, to finish two points ahead of Tallulah with 63.

Abi Brown won the 100-meter hurdles with a sizzling time of 16.13, and also won the 300-hurdles at 49.26 and the 400-dash at 1:04.14.

Amberlee Collard won the 200-dash at 28.03 and was second in the 100-dash at 13.34.

Phyllicia Woods won the 100-dash at 13.26 and was second in the 200-dash at 28.13.

The 400-relay team of Julie Moak, Collard, Natalie Tarver and Brown was first at 55.75 and was second in the 1600-relay at 4:58.15.

The 800-relay team of Moak, Collard, Tarver and Brown was third at 1:59.2.

Collard was fourth in the shot put at 26 feet, 5 inches, while Donna Tarver was fifth at 25 feet, 3 3/4 inches.

Donna Tarver was fifth in the discus with a throw of 62 feet.

Moak was fourth in the 100-hurdles at 19.2.
