Mary S. Case Graveside services for Mary S. Case, 92, of Clayton, were held Saturday, April 19, 2008, 2 p.m. at New Pine Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Elbert Oliver and Brother Jerry Sharp Jr. officiating.
Burial followed under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mrs. Case was born October 3, 1915, in Brookhaven, MS, the daughter of Lenard Smith and Ula Allen Smith. She passed away Thursday, April 17, 2008, in Ferriday.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Foules Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Case; her parents; one brother, L.W. Smith; one grandson, Terry Fletcher; and one granddaughter, Brenda Fletcher.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby Case, Wilson Case and wife, Janelle, all of Clayton; two daughters, Sue Posey of Texas and Faye Fletcher and husband, Bill, of Clayton; two brothers, Rass Smith of Vidalia and Clarn Smith; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bobby Case, John Case, John Case Jr., Dalton Johnston, Jerry Sharp Jr. and Barry Sharp.
Honorary pallbearers were Bill Fletcher Sr., Bill Fletcher Jr., Tony M. Fletcher and Clarn Posey. |
