John Wesley Mize
Funeral services for John Wesley Mize, 39, of Ferriday were held Thursday, April 17, 2008, at Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday with Bro. Jerry Reed of Pascagoula, MS, officiating.
Burial followed at Legion Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mr. Mize was born June 4, 1968, in Newellton, the son of John Wesley Mize I and Sharon Lindle of Baskin. He passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008, in Ferriday.
He was a farmer and a member of Calvary Faith Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandfather, Clinton Mize; and maternal grandparents, John Wesley and Elizabeth Turner.
Survivors include his mother; three sons, John Wesley Mize III of Ferriday, Jake Mize and John Mize, both of Monroe; one daughter, Megan Mize of Texas; one sister, Denise Morris of Newellton; grandmother, Maxine Mize of Waterproof; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers were uncles and friends. |
