Bobby Ray Skipper Funeral services for Bobby Ray Skipper, 50, of Ferriday will be held Saturday, April 26, 2008, 1 p.m. at New Morning Star Baptist Church in Ferriday with Rev. Willie Birdon officiating.
Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Friday evening, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Skipper was born August 4, 1957, in Ferriday, the son of Mullin Johnson and Beulah Skipper. He passed away April 21, 2008, at his residence.
He was a heavy equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother; a brother, Billy Johnson of San Diego, CA; a sister, Vertis Boyce of Compton, CA; three uncles, Manual Lee of Ferriday, Freddie Lee of Missouri City, TX, and Henry Simpson of Pineville; one aunt, Birdie Lee Freeman of St. Joseph; and cousins. |
