Edena C. Washington Funeral services for Edena C. Washington, 91, of Ferriday will be held Saturday, May 3, 2008, noon at Evening Star Baptist Church in Ferriday with Rev. T. A. Baker Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Friday evening, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ms. Washington was born February 15, 1917, in Goodpine to Isaac and Julian Tillman Campbell. She passed away April 24, 2008, at Promise Hospital in Ferriday.
She was a homemaker, member of Evening Star Baptist Church, church secretary, and member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by four sons, George Campbell and Donell Campbell of Ferriday, Jonell Campbell of Denver, CO, and Booker T. Campbell of Dallas, TX; six daughters, Amelia Madison of Moline, IL, Mary Prophet and Shelly Washington of Milwaukee, WI, Emma Campbell, Dinah Campbell and Katina Washington, all of Ferriday; 27 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchldren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. |
