William Coleman Dix Funeral services for William Coleman Dix, 66, of Natchez, formerly of Ferriday, will be held Friday, May 2, 2008, 1 p.m. at St. Mark Baptist Church in Clayton with Rev. Ricky O'Quinn officiating.
Burial will follow at Consurella Cemetery at Lake St. John under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Dix was born September 11, 1941, in Waterproof to Henry Coleman and Dorothy Dix Minor. He passed away April 23, 2008, at Natchez Community Hospital.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy D. Minor of San Francisco, CA; a son, Kenneth Carter of Baton Rouge; daughters, Delisha Coleman, Krasaundra C. Hunter and Rachel Coleman, all of Oakland, CA, Michelle King of Decatur, GA; brothers, Samuel Minor of Suisun, CA, Clifford Wayne Minor of Oakland, Charles E. Minor of Fairfield, CA; four sisters, Carolyn M. Morales of Ferriday, Debra M. Andrews of Natchez, Vera M. Sanford of Oakland, Jean M. Young of San Francisco; five grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. |
