Ferriday Rotary to award scholarships
The Ferriday Rotary Club will honor its latest Ben Green Memorial Scholarship winners Thursday at its weekly meeting at Panola Woods Country Club.
This year's scholarship award winners are Hunter Martin of Vidalia, Jon Lipsey of Monterey, Amberlee Collard of Huntington and David Turner of Ferriday High.
Collard's older brother, Micah, is a past winner.
The winners were chosen by a panel of educators based on an essay, grade point average, ACT score, school and community participation and plans to pursue a degree at a Louisiana college. |
