Funeral services for Vera Tiffee Crouch, 88, of Cottonport were held at Eva Church of God on Saturday, May 3, 2008, 10 a.m. with Rev. Lloyd Trisler, Rev. Gordon Finley and Rev. Kevin Sims officiating.

Interment followed at Alton Family Cemetery in Monterey under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mrs. Crouch was born October 7, 1919, in Eva to Lewis Lawrence Tiffee and Isabella Bairnsfather Tiffee. She passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. She was a resident of Monterey, a homemaker, and a member of the Eva Church Of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rodney Storey Crouch; brother, Shelby Jackson; sisters, Doris Tiffee and Charlie Jackson Steele.

Survivors include granddaughter, Lisa Meche and husband, Eddie, of Cottonport; grandsons, Michael Crouch and wife, Jenny, and James R. Crouch and wife, CeCe, all of Monterey; great-grandchildren, Dustin Leavins, Jesse Leavins, Kory Crouch and Joe Rhame Jr., Heather Rhame, MaCee Crouch and Marlee Crouch; great-great-grandson, Caden Leavines; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Ronald Poole, Gregg Poole, Billy Joe Ratcliff, Red Tiffee, Michael Crouch and James Rodney Crouch.

Honorary pallbearers were Tommy and Roddie Crouch
