Margaret Heard Cash
Funeral services for Margaret Heard Cash, 80, of St. Joseph were held today, Wednesday, May 7, 2008, 10 a.m. at United Methodist Church of St. Joseph with the Rev. Ray Owens Jr. officiating.
Burial followed at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mrs. Cash was born January 15, 1928, in Shreveport to John Ewell Heard, Sr., and Marguerite Durham Heard. She passed away Sunday, May 4, 2008, in St. Joseph.
She was a teacher, homemaker and member of the United Methodist Church of St. Joseph.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Robert Cash; and a brother, John Heard, Jr.
Survivors include daughters, Marilee Cash of Baton Rouge, Robyn Melville and husband, Mike, of Mandeville; grandchildren, Cash Melville of Ruston, Ashlea Doucet and Allyson Standiford, both of Baton Rouge; and great-granddaughter, Victoria Doucet of Baton Rouge.
Pallbearers were Bill Gattis, Shep Crigler, Jim Crigler, Bill Syd Crigler, Allen Crigler and George Bagley Jr.
Honorary pallbearer was John Crigler. |
