Charles Ivy Beard
Funeral services for Charles Ivy Beard, 43, of Jonesville were held Sunday, May 4, 2008, 2 p.m. at Young's Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Beard officiating.
Burial followed at Scott Cemetery in Monterey under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Mr. Beard was born April 2, 1965, in Ferriday, the son of Carlos C. Beard and Betty Holloway Beard. He passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2008, in Houston, TX.
He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, Ivy and Etta Beard of Monterey; maternal grandparents, Hoyet and Evelyn Holloway of Ferriday; and an infant brother.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Beard of Jonesville; his mother; one daughter, Jennifer Nicole Beard of Vidalia; one son, Tyler Joseph Norris of Bentonville, AR; two stepsons, Christopher Bowen, of Jonesville, and Donald Tipton Jr. of Hessmer; one sister, Lisa Beard of Jonesville; two brothers, Kevin Beard and wife, Tammye, and Carlos "Cowboy" Beard, all of Jonesville; one special nephew, Justin Grant and wife, Megan, of Jonesville; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Donald Woods, Alvin Garrison, George Beard, Dustin Beard, Justin Grant and Heath Herron.
Honorary pallbearers were Clinton B. Schneider Jr. and Brad Young. |
