Victor 'Scrap' Jones Funeral services for Victor "Scrap" Jones, 53, of Ferriday will be held Thursday, May 15, 2008, 11 a.m. at Concordia Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Justin Conner officiating.
Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Jones was born March 4, 1955, in Ferriday to Amos and Mattie Carroll Jones. He passed away May 8, 2008, at Baton Rouge General Hospital in Baton Rouge.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Survivors include his father, Amos Jones of Clayton; two daughters, Christie Jackson and Shonda Jackson of Baton Rouge; one son, Donald Jackson of Morgan City; four stepchildren, Myrna Mason of Cartersville, GA, Tressie Jackson of Baton Rouge, Shelia Addison of Fontana, CA, Tanya Lewis of Denver, CO; his companion, Odessa Jackson of Ferriday; one special sister, Minnie P. Patrick of Baton Rouge; seven other sisters; six brothers; special aunt Mamir Carroll of Ferriday; and four grandchildren. |
