Willie Smith Jr.
Funeral services for Willie Smith Jr., 55, of Ferriday will be held Saturday, June 14, 2008, 11 a.m. at St. Mark Baptist Church in Clayton with Rev. David Brown officiating.
Burial will follow at Mt. Mariah Cemetery in Frogmore under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Friday evening, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Smith was born August 22, 1952, in Jonesville to Willie and Esther Norris Smith. He passed away June 6, 2008, at Rapides Medical Center in Alexandria.
He is survived by his wife, Earline Vaughn Smith of Ferriday; a son, Willie Smith III and wife, LaQunda, of Duluth, GA; a daughter, Sceletia Price of Atlanta, GA; one brother, Andrew Smith; sister Georgia Patterson, both of Ferriday; two grandchildren, Despinasia Smith of Ferriday and Ashton Smith of Duluth; one aunt; one uncle; and numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins. |
