DA names Siddall, Boyd as assistants Dist. Atty. John Johnson has named Ann Siddall and Lauri Gene Boyd as assistant district attorneys to serve the remainder of his term which ends in December.
Judge Leo Boothe administered the oaths of office to the two attorneys in Seventh Judicial District Court in Harrisonburg.
Three assistant district attorneys resigned from office on June 6th to run for public office.
John Reeves is running for judge, and Brad Burget and Ronnie McMillin are each vying for the District Attorney post.
Johnson announced a few weeks ago that the will not seek another term. He said Siddall and Boyd will alternate their work in criminal court in both Catahoula and Concordia parishes and in both judicial divisions. |
