VIDALIA MEETINGS TO BE TELEVISED

Vidalia Town Council meetings will hit the cable television screen beginning this month. The monthly meeting will be aired on Cable One channel 4 on Tuesdays and Thursday beginning at 4 p.m.

MCGLOTHIN MAKES FERRIDAY WATER A PRIORITY

Four years ago, the last time Glen McGlothin resided over a Ferriday Town Hall meeting, the mayor talked about borrowing money from the State Bond Commission to pay for water plant chemicals.

EARLY VOTING UNDERWAY FOR LIBRARY TAX RENEWAL

Forty-nine early votes had been counted at the Registrar of Voters office by mid-morning today (Wednesday) for the parishwide library tax renewal.
