CNN has scheduled a piece at 1 p.m. today on the 1964 murder of Ferriday shoe shop owner Frank Morris.

Correspondent Sean Callebs visited Ferriday in late February.

Callebs said today that he thinks the Frank Morris story "is incredibly important not only for Ferriday, but for the entire country. There were hundreds of Frank Morris' out there in the 1960s."

He said the goal "is to shed more light on the Frank Morris case and other cases. There were 40 unsolved cases in Mississippi alone."

Callebs said this "was a horrible time in the nation's history. Some say let sleeping dogs lie. But we like most everyone would like to see justice in these cases."

The story will also be available on the CNN website, said Callebs.
