Betty Miles Pratt
Betty Miles Pratt of Tacoma, WA, formerly of Lake St. John, died July 19, 2008, after a long battle with cancer.
A memorial visitation will be held Friday, July 25, 2008 at 3 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the United Methodist Church in Mer Rouge.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Lockert Miles, her father, Julian Miles, and her husband, Thurston B. Pratt III.
She is survived by her son, Dr. Hugh Miles Pratt and his wife, Briana, of Tacoma, her daughter, Dr. Mary Margaret Pratt of Tacoma, and her stepmother, Edith Miles, of Mer Rouge.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in the name of Betty Miles Pratt be made to either the Yale Cancer Center by contacting Sue Frankenbach at 203-436-8544, or to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle by calling 206-667-4902.
