Funeral services for Curtis Campbell, 51, of Wisner were held at South Central Baptist Church Thursday, July 17, 2008, 10 a.m. with Rev. Larry Eubanks officiating.

Burial followed at South Central Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.

Mr. Campbell was born November 20, 1956, in Winnsboro and passed away Monday, July 14, 2008, at Residence Wisner.

He was a resident of Wisner, an employee with Haring Farm Planting Partnership, a mechanic, and a member of South Central Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Faye Moore Campbell; and his father, William Joseph Campbell.

Survivors include his mother, Alpha Claudean Hill Campbell; two sons, Jeremy Campbell of Monroe and Curtis Duke Campbell of Wisner; two daughters, Brandy Alexander and husband, Danny, of Vidalia, and Mandy Smith of Ridgecrest; two brothers, Robert "Brother" Campbell and wife, Kathy, of Jigger Point, and Sam Campbell of Wisner; a sister, Sharon "Sister" Martin and husband, Charlie, of Vidalia; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers were Mark Batey, Doug Easterling, Kevin Parker, Ronnie "Cracker" Graham, Ed McKee and Bubba Dale Ellerbe.

Honorary pallbearers were John Haring, Glenn Wall, Little Mac Harris and Emma Jean Albritton.
