Funeral services for Vallie Winn Jr., 63, of Vidalia will be held Friday, July 25, 2008, 11 a.m. at Concordia Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday with Rev. Douglas Logan officiating.
Burial will follow at National Cemetery in Natchez under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m.
Mr. Winn was born May 12, 1945, in New Orleans to Vallie and Alma Lindsey Winn. He passed away July 18, 2008, at Natchez Regional Medical Center in Natchez.
He was retired from the military with over 20 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Debra Williams Winn of Vidalia; four sons, Vallie Winn III, Joseph Winn and Margene Winn, all of Mexico, MO, Jerry Williams of Houston, TX; three daughters, Mary Lane of Vidalia, Chloe Winn of Ft. Smith, AR, and Callie Winn of Mexico, MO; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; eight aunts and six uncles. |
