Betty W. Patton
Funeral services for Betty W. Patton, 73, of Vidalia, who died Monday, July 21, 2008, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2008, at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with Dr. David Sartin officiating.
Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Patton was born Jan. 29, 1935, in Rolling Fork, MS, the daughter of J.W. and Lela Newcomb Watson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vidalia. She graduated from Rolling Fork High School in 1953.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Walton Watson and Wayne Walton.
Survivors include her husband, William Loyd Patton Jr.; five children, William Loyd Patton III of Spokane, WA, Lisa Patton Sartin of Harrisville, MS, Laurence Patton of Brewton, AL, Lynn Patton of Walker, and Lamar Patton of Holliester, MO; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be William Loyd Patton III, Laurence Patton, Lynn Patton, Lamar Patton, Madison Patton and Tommy Probst. |
