Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal will hold a town meeting at the Vidalia Conference and Convention Center on Thursday, August 7, at 11:15 a.m.

"Gov. Jindal told us he would come back and we'll excited to have him," said Vidalia Mayor Hyram Copeland. "We want the general public to attend and there will be a question and answer session."

Jindal was sworn into office on January 14, 2008, after receiving 54 percent of the vote in the October 2007 primary.
