Cheri Cothren Cordray Funeral services for Cheri Cothren Cordray, 57, of Zachary were held Tuesday, August 5, 2008, 11 a.m. at Charlet Funeral Home in Zachary with Rev. Howard Childs officiating.
Burial followed at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Baker.
Mrs. Cordray died Saturday, August 2, 2008, at her home.
She enjoyed canning jams and jellies and cooking. She was a graduate of Ferriday High School.
She was preceded in death by her father, Scout Cothren.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Mike Cordray; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Andrew Childs, Denham Springs; and Amy and Jimmy Dodd, Milton, FL; her mother, Alice Cothren of Jonesville; two sisters, Carolyn Doss of Tallulah and Margaret Housely of Jonesville; nine grandchildren, Michelle Bourgoyne, Morgan Bourgoyne, Tylore Sit, Kris, Jennifer and Stephanie Childs, Timothy, Brittney, and Savanna Dodd.
Pallbearers were Andrew Childs, James Cockern, Kevin Blasingame, Jimmy Dodd, and Wesley Cordray. |
