Funeral services for Brenda Cathy Freeman, 58 ,of Ferriday were held at Parkview Church of God on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Victor Stewart and Sis. Gay Bradford officiating.
Burial followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday
Mrs. Freeman was born August 1, 1950 in Winnsboro to Nub and Bettie Martin. She passed away Monday August 4, 2008 in Houston, TX.
She was a resident of Ferriday and a RN at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bettie Jean Martin; two sisters, Dianne Harveston and Dianne Buckles; and father-in-law, Lacy E. Freeman.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Freeman of Clayton; sons Paul Houghton and Nickie Estrada of Houston, Tim Houghton and Roxan of Jonesville, Lee Freeman of Denver, CO; daughters, Kristi Whitehead and Jesse of Vidalia, Michelle Haimson and Bob of Natchez, and Kelly Freeman of Denver; parents, Nub and Ernie Martin; grandchildren, Christopher Houghton, Alex Patten, Ashtin Houghton, Hailey Hewitt, Alexis Whitehead, Allen Taylor, Ariel Estrada, Dylan Haimson, Ashley Haimson, and Christopher Haimson; siblings, Jackie Martin of Ferriday, Susie Dean of LaPlace, Renee Ferguson of Dallas, TX, Chuck Harveston of Brookhaven, MS and James Harveston of Dallas.
Pallbearers were Brad Martin, Cory Martin, Spencer Dean, Clayton Dean and Greg Ferguson.
Honorary pallbearers were Doyle Freeman, Ron Freeman and Chad Pugh. |
