AC falls to WCCA Adams County Christian School fell to Wilkinson County Christian Academy 20-7 in its opener at Woodville Friday.
"We had opportunities but just didn't take advantage of them" said ACCS head coach Paul Hayles. "It's still a learning process."
AC's lone score came in the third period as Brandon Sanders scored on a 1-yard run after a 21-yard scamper.
ACCS hosts Trinity Friday.
"They have a great offense and are really good on defense," Hayles said. "You can't coach speed and they have a lot of speed. We'll try and control the ball and keep it away from them. We're certainly going in confident about what we can do and not backing down." |
