Story Archives: Huntington-Trinity moved to Saturday

Huntington-Trinity moved to Saturday
by Joey Martin - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Huntington will visit Trinity Episcopal Saturday at 5 p.m.

The game was changed from Friday because of the weather conditions from Hurricane Gustav.

"They have a lot of weapons," said Huntington coach Chad Harkins. "Givonni (Dent) throws the ball real well and we don't match up well with them on the outside."

Trinity defeated Huntington 34-8 last year.

"It may be tough to throw the ball after three days of rain," Harkins said. "But we have to try and control the ball and keep it away from them."

Huntington will host Christian Home Educators Fellowship of Maurice on Sept. 12 to fill an open date left when Tensas Academy went to 8-man football.
