Hinsons win Couples Tournament
Pat and Cathy Hinson captured the Panola Woods Country Club Fall Couples Tournament Saturday with a 128 score.
The Hinsons shot a 66 over the first 18 holes and shot an impressive 62 over the final 18.
Glenn Roscoe and Kathy Roscoe were second at 129, leading after the first 18 holes with a 63.
Finishing tied for third were the teams of Don Valentine and Stacy LaPrairie and Robin Renner and Sandra Renner at 132.
Shooting 133s were the teams of Mike Zimmerman and Beverly Knapp and Jeff and Paige People.
Coming in at 134 was the team of Cotton and Kay Renner.
Jack and Florine Bonner shot a 136.
Winning the first flight with a score of 138 was the team of Eddie and Melanie Ray. Eddie Ray is a former football player from LSU.
Finishing second at 139 was the team of Paul and Connie Patterson.
O.L. and Cecil Evans were third at 141.
C.J. Swillie and Diane Valentine placed fourth at 142. |
