ACCS falls to Centreville Adams County Christian School caught a Centreville team at the worst time, as the Tigers took out their loss the previous week to Parklane on the Rebels, rolling to a 35-7 win.
"They were certainly a focused group," said ACCS head coach Paul Hayles. "And focused or not, they are salty."
Dillon Johnson scored AC's touchdown in the third period, going in from five yards out.
"We had five turnovers in the first half and you can't do that against anybody, especially a team like Centreville," Hayles said.
ACCS hosts River Oaks Thursday. The game was moved up a day.
"River Oaks is a very talented team with a good quarterback who runs and throws well and has excellent receivers," Hayles said. "It's a different style of play in that it's not smash-mouth football. We've got our hands full and it will be a challenge." |
