Trinity blanks Tri-County
by Joey Martin - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Trinity Episcopal put together its best game of the season to date as the Saints limited their mistakes in a 37-0 win over Tri-County Thursday to improve to 4-0 on the season.

The Saints scored on their fourth play of the game as Givonni Dent completed a 42-yard TD pass to Jackson Bryant.

A high snap on a punt on Tri-County's next possession led to a safety. The Saints took the ensuing kick and added to the lead as Kent King scored on a 35-yard run. R.J. Fleming got his first score of the game in the second quarter on a 56-yard run.

The onslaught continued in the second quarter on a 43-yard TD pass from Dent to Wells Middleton.

The final score of the first half and the game came on a 32-yard punt return by Fleming.

Trinity hosts Prairie View Friday.
