Junior Vikings get win
Vidalia Junior High opened the 2008 season Thursday with the 7th grade squad holding the Jonesville Bobcats to a 0 - 0 tie.
Seventh grade quarterback Stewart Mallory led the team with Cody White shining on both offense and defense. Michael Whitley led the 8th grade team to a 24 - 0 win over Jonesville.
Whitley completed three of six passes on the night including three extra point conversions; two to Hunter Williams and the other to Garrett Keating.
Vincent Dotson led the scoring for the Vikings scoring three touchdowns while Duncan Ashley scored the final touchdown. |
