Robert Lee 'Bob' Davis Funeral services for Mr. Robert Lee "Bob" Davis, Jr., 60, of Ferriday were held at Young's Funeral Home, Ferriday, on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Bro. Ritchie Barrett officiating.
Burial followed at Archibald Community Cemetery in Archibald under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mr. Davis was born February 1, 1948 in Rayville, to Irene and Robert Davis, Sr. He passed away Thursday, September 18, 2008, at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village AR.
He was a resident of Ferriday and a insurance salesman for Union National Insurance Co. for 38 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Robbie Jean Denny.
Survivors include a daughter, Robin Welch and husband, Joey, of Wilmot, AR; sons, Cody Davis and wife, Delia, of Jacksonville, FL, and Chris Davis and wife, Mandy, of Wilmot; brothers, Glen Davis and wife, Deborah, of Vidalia, and Mike Davis and wife, Suzie, of Ferriday; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Rudy Wilson, Lamar Spinks, Bobby Byrnes, Randy Coward, Jack Lofton, and William Seyfarth. |
